The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
