Uche Sparks Comfortable Crystal Palace Triumph at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing key players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muรฑoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually secures them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct entry to the knockout stages, especially after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Moment
This match offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, finding the net for the second game in succession.
The Shelbourne team that had finished their league season were outmatched even for a mostly rotated Palace lineup. The Londoners were further depleted by the reports that Mateta and Muรฑoz are sidelined with knee problems.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some comically weak challenges before coolly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring his very first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
